On 31 May, Year 3’s Heidi Forbes walked her way into the record books after scaling the highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales in just 22 hours and 23 minutes—becoming the youngest girl ever to successfully complete the National Three Peaks Challenge!

Heidi was not alone on her adventure. She was joined by her brothers Otis (Year 6) and Heath (now at Farmor’s School), along with her parents Rob and Helen, who all took on the challenge together as a family team. Their route covered Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and Snowdon in Wales, with very little rest in between as they travelled from mountain to mountain.
The challenge was about more than just personal achievement. The family undertook the gruelling test of endurance to raise money for two important causes close to their hearts: the Big Build project here at school, and the new Astro pitch at Farmor’s.
Completing the Three Peaks is a huge undertaking for anyone, and Heidi’s incredible determination at just eight years old makes her achievement even more inspiring. We are so proud of Heidi, Otis, Heath and the whole Forbes family—thank you for showing what can be achieved with courage, teamwork and community spirit!
