The Coln Valley Trail Runs returned on Sunday 7 September, bringing runners of all ages to the beautiful Coln River valley. From hay bale hurdles and the infamous “dip of doom” on the 2k fun run to the rolling pastures and iconic Arlington Row on the 5k and 10k routes, there was something for everyone.
With jars of honey for finishers, a sizzling BBQ, plenty of cake at the finish, and brilliant support all round, it was a fantastic community day out.
While the final fundraising total is still being counted, early signs suggest it is set to beat last year’s impressive tally – a huge boost towards our Big Build target.
Enormous thanks go to Rob and Helen Forbes and their team of helpers for putting on another fabulously fun and well-run event. And of course, thank you to all the runners, families and supporters who made the day such a success.
