Heidi Forbes sets 3 Peaks Challenge record!
On 31 May, Year 3’s Heidi Forbes walked her way into the record books after scaling the highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales in just 22 hours and 23 minutes—in doing so becoming the youngest girl ever to successfully complete the National Three Peaks Challenge!
Heidi was joined by brothers Otis (Y6) and Heath (now at Farmor’s School) and parents Rob and Helen. The family undertook the challenge to raise funds for both the Big Build and a new Astro pitch at Farmor’s.

£50,000 donation keeps Phase 1&2 plans on track
Big Build supporters have been bowled over by the extraordinary generosity of the John Armitage Charitable Trust, which has donated an astonishing £50,000 to the campaign. The Trust is a charitable foundation committed to "helping people help themselves". Its support for the community-led Big Build will certainly do just that, putting us within touching distance of reaching the target for Phases 1 & 2.
The Barn Theatre hosts the Weakest Link!
On 18 January, Cirencester's The Barn Theatre staged a one-off performance of the iconic TV quiz show, with the legendary Queen of Mean, Anne Robinson, asking the questions and putting the celebrity contestants through their paces. Our greatest thanks to the theatre's owners Ian and Chrissie Carling and artistic director Iwan Lewis, to Mighty Productions, to Anne and to everyone else involved in putting on an unforgettable evening. More to follow.
