The chart below (duplicated from the homepage) provides an at-a-glance overview of our fundraising progress to date as of 31 January 2025. Please note, the original c.£338,000 estimated for the works was reduced significantly following a tendering process in late-2024/early-2025.
Fundraising overview - Phases 1 & 2
​This second chart provides a summary of the £252,156 that had been raised as of 31st January 2025, broken down by fundraising activity. As you can see, it includes: money which was raised previously thanks to the amazing work of the school's PTA and a very generous one-off donation of £20,000 from an anonymous benefactor; money which the Big Build has raised by putting on events, one-off donations, child-led fundraising and business sponsorship and; gift aid. These funds are carefully managed by the financial team of the Friends of Hatherop charity and as such there is also a sum of interest and investment gains shown in the chart - as with any investments this sum is subject to change.
This chart will be updated periodically.
* A time lag exists between donating and the charity receiving gift aid. As such, the actual figure raised will be higher.
