Grow a Fiver
On 17 January, we launched an exciting new initiative through which every child at Hatherop Primary was given £5 with the challenge to “grow” it as much as possible by the end of the Easter holidays.
This initiative is proudly supported by The Growth Hub Cirencester, who generously provided the initial £5 for each child, and Midas Communications, who are kindly matching the initial investment.
Not only does this initiative inspire children to take an active role in fundraising for their school, but it also helps them develop valuable entrepreneurial skills—encouraging creativity, problem-solving and financial awareness.
Scroll down to see some of the imaginative ways the Hatherop children have risen to the challenge - and how you can support them grow their fivers!

Events to attend
Digby & Albert
For their grow-a-fiver challenge, Digby & Albert will be buying some lukozade and energy snacks to power them through a full length Sprint Triathlon on the 29th March. Diving into a 400m swim, followed by a 20km cycle, and finishing with a 5km run - it will be tiring but they are up for the challenge! Please sponsor them to help spur them on 💪
